Lora Maxwell earned an Associate of Arts Degree in Professional Nursing, (Registered Nurse), from Harbor College/UCLA Medical Center, Bachelor of Science(BS) degree in Health Science, and Master of Arts Degree (MA) Clinical Psychology at California State University, Dominguez Hills.

Lora has over 20 years of experience in diverse Nursing, Research, Counseling, and Administrative positions: Nursing experience in the areas of Diabetes, HIV Infection/Treatment, Orthopedics and Mental Health Counseling. Research and Supervisory experience in Cardiovascular Epidemiology, Cardiovascular Medicine (Atherosclerosis Research), Endocrinology, Immunology and Phase 11 Clinical trials.

Lora is currently the study coordinator in the Atherosclerosis Research Unit. Lora’s life’s work has consistently been in the areas of Health Care Delivery Systems, which has been very fulfilling for her.
